Invited Symposium Speakers | Provided | Provided |
Accepted Oral/Poster Presenters | Provided | Not provided |

Note: Letters of Guarantee are only issued for invited speakers whose travel and accommodation are supported by the organizing committee.
For other participants, only the invitation letter or confirmation of registration/presentation will be provided.
2. Visa Application Without a Letter of Guarantee
Even if a Letter of Guarantee is not issued, participants may still apply for a Japanese visa by submitting the following documents to the Japanese embassy or consulate in their country:
- Valid passport
- Completed visa application form with photo
- Conference registration confirmation
- Certificate of acceptance of abstract (for presenters)
- Invitation letter (issued by the conference)
- Travel itinerary (with the flight and hotel reservation, etc.)
- Proof of sufficient financial means (e.g., bank statement)
Each embassy may have slightly different requirements. Please consult the website of your local Japanese embassy for specific instructions.
3. Countries and Regions Exempt from Visa Requirements
Nationals of visa-exemption countries do not require a visa to enter Japan for short-term stays (including conference participation), depending on the country of citizenship.
For the latest list of visa-exempt countries, please refer to the official website of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Japan:
4. Visa Application Fee (Single-entry)
The standard visa application fee is as follows:
- Single-entry visa: JPY 3,000 (or equivalent in local currency)
(This is the standard fee set by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Japan)
Note: Visa fees may vary depending on your nationality and the exchange rate used by the Japanese embassy or consulate in your country.
Please check the website of your local Japanese embassy or consulate for the exact amount and accepted payment methods.
The visa fee is the responsibility of each participant. The conference does not cover visa fees.
If you apply through a visa service center or agency (e.g. VFS), additional handling fees may apply.
